The streets were crowded with folks for the parade. I loved seeing all of these people enjoying our great town on such a beautiful day.
We have some mighty strong men and women in our town! These bikers were pulling the pink Mountain Fairy van with style and class.
If you went to the rodeo, then you would have watched this young troop of riders perform their routines, completely bareback. Very impressive!
The State Farm bear giving my daughter a sweet hug.
The 4th of July rodeo can't be complete without the "Bouncy Car" (that's what the kids call it). Definitely a crowd pleaser.
After the parade, we stayed on Main Street for lunch and to watch the bike races through the street.
After resting at home for a couple of hours, we put on our best cowboy gear and headed to the rodeo. This is the very last year that the rodeo will be held in it's current building. Demolition and rebuilding should begin soon. It shall be exciting to watch the new building take shape.
Our family just loves going to the rodeo each year and honoring an old American tradition!
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July! Until next time.
