My favorite question

During the summer months, we run into a lot of new families that are visiting for the week or staying the entire summer. As I engage in conversation with them while our kids are playing together, my favorite question almost always pops up.

Visiting friend:  Where are you from?

Happy me:  We live here.

Visiting friend:  You live here full time?

Happy me:  Yes and we love it.

Visiting friend (now with a hint of envy in voice):  Wow, that is so nice.

Hopefully one of these days, my visiting friends will become permanent friends.

On another note....we went to the Fashion Show on Ice today and it was such a fun time.  Local skaters, young and older, all modeled the latest fashions while performing to funky music on ice.  Super cute and I must add that we have mighty talented ice skaters in this valley!

I also have to include a picture of my son practicing his future ice skating moves.  Ice shows, symphonies, hikes, rivers, the list goes on and on why this town is perfect for kids.
