Hiking with the Animal Shelter

This summer, we have really enjoyed taking the animal shelter dogs for a hike out Adams Gulch.  The kids love meeting new dogs and taking them for a jaunt around one of the most beautiful hiking trails.  Typically, I'm in charge of the leash and the kids are in charge of the treats.  It's so wonderful to see how many other volunteers come out every Wednesday.  The animal shelter dogs sure are loved, but still need new homes and families.

The Animal Shelter brings their dogs every Wednesday (until the first snow fall--which hopefully is far, far away) from 9:30am-1:00pm at Adams Gulch.  They provide the leashes, the treats and the poop bags. You just need to show up with a warm heart and some energy!  Have fun with the dogs! There were some cuties out today.

On our way home, we spotted this cute little fox on the side of the road. Yet another typical day in Sun Valley!
