Bowling at Sun Valley Resort

With all the outdoor activities to do around town, it is sometimes easy to forget that we also have fun indoor activities to do as well.  Now that the kids are older, we have found a new favorite spot at the Sun Valley Bowling Alley (located in the basement of the Resort).  This isn't a fancy shmancy bowling alley with automatic score keepers and flashing lights, instead the bowling alley is a classic (plus smoke free!) and will take you back in time.  Perfect for families! There are a limited number of lanes, but that helps keep the place more intimate and the kids contained.

The Resort is trying to promote itself as even more family friendly and recently my family was asked to be "bowling alley models" for the website.  We had a blast bowling and received some great photos to prove it!
Besides bowling, your family will be entertained by the various arcade games. For some reason, my Idaho boys are fans of Duck Hunter.
Isn't this such a neat looking bowling alley? Every time we have been there, the staff has been fantastic.

I love to go bowling in Sun Valley & how the mood of excitement rises as you head downstairs after walking the long hallway in the Lodge. We used to go bowl Wednesday nights in the winter after Town Series ski race parties. Have to go back & check it out.

Thanks for the fun post!
