Small town "news"

Wednesday mornings I wake up with a little smile on my face because I know that it is newspaper day.  This is the day that locals can be seen in Java sitting with their latte reading the paper.  We have not one, but two papers on this very day to keep us informed, or shall I say....entertained.

Now, I know that I'm not alone in my indulgence when I must admit that after scanning the front page headlines for any interesting tidbits, I immediately go to the back page of the classifieds for the Miscellaneous II section.

I read it with pure guilt and humor!  Who knew that hiking up baldy or idling your car (which is bad, so don't do it) could cause so much anger! I'm learning more about global warming than I ever wanted to.

So, thank you to all of those authors of the Town Gossip, oh I mean Miscellaneous II section. I'm still waiting for that post that reads " to the frazzled looking mom of 3....you look hot in that shirt with snot on your sleeve".
