Frenchman's Bend Hot Springs

About 7 miles up the road from Warm Springs, there is a little treasure---Frenchman's Bend Hot Springs.

The warm/hot water temperature was a soothing relief on a cold winter day.  It took us awhile to move the rocks around to create the ideal temperature for us. After that, we sat there in pure, relaxed bliss while enjoying the sounds of the river and the snow around us.  The kids collected some cool rocks, but other than that, they were content to sit in our laps in a calm daze.

The hot springs are popular and I'm sure can get kind of crowded, but we were the only ones enjoying them for more than an hour. Yet, just as we were leaving a dad came by to "prepare" the hot springs for a kid gathering.

The scenery is killer and I'm sure this place would rock in the fall and early spring as well!  We will be back!
